The episode presented Nigeria with the opportunity to demonstrate what is being done, the challenges, and the assistance required in fighting terrorism across the country.A few updates from the last few weeks:1 Dialogue was initiated with the USA
2. The Nigerian Army says it is intensifying effort to wipe out more terrorists, bandits, murderous separatists and murderous herdsmen
3. A new Defence Minister, General CG Musa (Rtd) was appointed
4.Nigeria secured some convictions of terrorists in the last 5 weeks
5. Police Force becoming more resource efficient + size is increasing
6. Process of creating State Police underway
7. Improved security collaboration will be forged between Nigeria and the USA Overall, it appears we are on the right track. But we still have some citizens and communities in distress.
This needs to be addressed urgently.Fellow patriotic citizens, we should continue to support our armed forces at @DHQNigeria who are doing the hard work of keeping our nation safe.
