Veteran journalist and politician Chief Dele Momodu has once again spoken out, doubling down on his earlier claims of political bias, following a new directive issued by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu concerning police escorts attached to political figures and public commentators
.In what many are calling a controversial move, the presidency recently *ordered a nationwide review and reduction of police personnel assigned to individuals, especially those not currently holding official positions. The directive, according to sources within Aso Rock, is aimed at ensuring more efficient deployment of security resources in the country. However, Dele Momodu, a vocal critic of the Tinubu administration and former presidential aspirant, believes the move is targeted and driven by political motives. In a fiery post shared via his verified social media handle, Momodu lamented the sudden withdrawal of police escorts attached to him, saying this only confirms what he had warned Nigerians about months ago.
