Frank Edoho Reveals Second Marriage Has Ended

Popular Nigerian broadcaster and TV host Frank Edoho has opened up about the end of his second marriage, admitting that the relationship has come to an end.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host revealed that despite giving his best, his two marriages didn’t work out.

Edoho was previously married to Katherine Obiang, a TV personality, with whom he had three children. After their separation in 2010, he married his second wife, Sandra Onyenuchenuya, in 2013. They welcomed their first child in 2014 and a second child in 2016. That relationship has also now ended.

In a January interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Frank, who was dropped as host of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” in 2017, described his seven-year marriage to Katherine as a “mismatch,” stating that neither he nor Katherine was ready for the challenging demands of matrimony.

“My ex-wife was my friend, and there were children involved. I think ours was a mismatch; I was young. When she got pregnant, I had cold feet, but I still got married. It lasted seven years, and in 2010, I left. Three years later, I remarried,” he said. PREMIUM TIMES.

“Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess,” Frank said during the recent podcast. “The two women I had been married to are not my soul mates. Love of your life is different from your soulmate. The love of your life is the person who comes to your mind when you think of love. But your soulmate is someone who understands you even before you express yourself, and you naturally align with.”

Edoho added that he was deeply committed in both marriages and went “above and beyond” to make them work. “I carried my partner… I can abandon everything for her,” he said.

He also acknowledged that sometimes love simply fades, and it’s not necessarily anyone’s fault. Citing a surprising example, he said, “Take the footballer Kaka for example… very handsome guy, even when he retired. But his wife divorced him. Do you know what she said? ‘He is too good’.”

Edoho’s honest comments have sparked sympathy and debate online, although he didn’t explicitly state what went wrong in their marriage, or the reasons for the divorce.
