Popular socialite, activist, and philanthropist Vincent Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan (VDM), has finally made a post since his release from the Economic & Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody.
In the new post on his social media handles, VDM came out with a music box, wearing a white flared skirt that covered his legs, and danced to the traditional song playing from the music box.
At the end of the video, he said there are now four arms of government, namely, “the legislative arm, the executive arm, the judiciary, and THE RATEL MOVEMENT.”

His followers, fans, and Nigerians at large had patiently waited for his post after the news of his release by the EFCC, which arrested him on Friday at a Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) branch in Abuja on charges of money laundering, was broken by his legal counsel, Adeyanju Deji.
On Friday, May 9, 2025, one week since he last made a post on his social media handles, VDM showed up, and people trooped into the comments to express their joy for his return.
The EFCC, according to his lawyer, had seized his phone and car, so he had to buy a new phone.
His arrest had sparked an uproar in the country, with his followers, known as the Ratels Movement, protesting in Abuja for his release.
VDM is yet to give details about his encounter with the EFCC and his two days in their custody. Today’s post seems to be a welcome post, as his fans wait to hear his story in his usual manner.
