Nnamdi Kanu Rages in Court as Justice Nyako Adjourns his Case Indefinitely

A video of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) rages in court, accusing the Nigerian Judiciary of ignorance of the law, as the court adjourns his case indefinitely, has soon gone viral.

Posted by Channels Television on their X handle, Nnamdi Kanu is seen in an enraged state, with his counsels and supporters standing close by, as he criticizes the court of bias and turning the law upside-down against his favour.

He clearly claimed that “the prosecution and the court don’t know the law; that is the fact. Poor knowledge of the law is killing Nigeria,” he said as he read out a description from the constitution.

In his umbrage, he shouted at one of his counsels to keep quiet while he is talking. Kanu pointed out that the court turned his charges which were earlier treated as “treasonable felony” to “terrorism”.

He accused the judiciary of corruption, claiming that Justice Binta Nyako whose husband and son are currently facing corruption charges, has been promised freedom for her husband and son for Kanu’s indictment.

He also read from the document he held of the Supreme Court stating that the court has been biased towards him (Nnamdi Kanu), but it seems the Nigerian Judiciary does not obey higher court orders, despite such provision being made by the constitution.

The video have spurred reactions and debate among Nigerians on the internet, with many accusing Nnamdi of displaying arrogance in court.
