Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola gave an emotional speech at the wedding of his daughter, Temi Otedola, where he offered advice to the new couple.
In his remarks, Otedola praised Temi’s husband, Tosin, describing him as “a great guy from a very decent family.” He also commended the love and compatibility he observed between the pair, noting that both share strong entrepreneurial spirits.
His most striking counsel, however, was directed at his daughter.

“One thing I will advise you, Temi, is… you have to succumb to the whims of your husband. He is your husband, and he is your boss. There is no more Daddy. Don’t come here,” Otedola said, drawing mixed reactions from guests.
He urged the couple to resolve their challenges privately and maintain mutual respect. “When you have issues, just keep it within your walls. Don’t involve outsiders. And God will bless your marriage,” he advised. Otedola also encouraged Tosin, expressing confidence in his entrepreneurial drive and future success.
The businessman concluded by thanking guests who travelled from far and near to witness the ceremony, offering them safe journeys back home.
