Governor of Abia State Alex Otti was graciously cheered and welcomed by his people with songs when he visited Aba to commission some newly completed roads with streetlights.
The governor, with his entourage, walked the different distances to commission each part of the completed road, returning waves to the cheers of his people on each roadside.

Otti welcomed some traders who ran to embrace him. Like the man of the people Chinua Achebe wrote about.
In one other trending video, as he walked the road, greeted by some children selling by the roadside, Otti made stops, asking the children if they do go to school.
Governor Otti is an embodiment of true leadership with transparency. The people of Abia love him for what he has been able to achieve within just 24 months in office.
He has also faced criticism by opposition parties in the state, demanding accountability rather than showing off.
