Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu recounted how he once helped a lady on social media, but the lady did not show gratitude; however, she came back after some time to ask for help again.
Narrating how it happened in a video, actor Chiwetalu said a lady reached out to him, requesting help. The lady sounded genuine, saying that she had no money to get food for her baby; he felt bad for her and decided to help.
So he called his son and spoke with him about the lady, and they sent her some money. But the lady received the money and never cared to confirm receipt of the money until he had to ask her, and she replied with just “seen.”

Since then he never heard from her until after a few weeks, she texted him again and apologized for how she behaved the last time and said that she is very grateful for how he helped her.
The actor said, after he told her there is no problem, the lady started telling him she is seriously in need, asking him to help her again.
Chiwetalu Agu emphasized the importance of gratitude, pointing out that it is wrong to be ungrateful to people who went out of their way to help you, no matter how little it was.
The video spurred reactions on the internet, with many condemning the lady’s attitude while commending the Nollywood actor for his show of kindness.
