The founder of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Evangelist Ebuka Obi, has responded to the trending accusations by netizens that he stages fake testimonies.
The matter trended after a lady went to his church and gave a testimony of buying a N500 million house in Lekki, Lagos State, while she glorified the God of Evangelist Ebuka Obi for doing it for her.
The lady was later seen selling on a roadside by people who saw the video of her testimony. She was confronted until she confessed that the testimony was staged.
The confession has got a lot of Nigerian Christians talking and criticizing the practice of stage miracle performances by most Nigerian clergymen, while followers of Evangelist Ebuka defended their prophet.

In a video while addressing the media and his congregation, the clergyman said God had already revealed to him that his name would be all over the media this month and that he is not surprised.
He said he is looking for the lady in question and that if the lady had lied about the house, then she lied before God and His altar, not him.
Evangelist Ebuka accused some clergymen in the east of paying bloggers and media influencers in order to bring him down.
In another video, the Evangelist said his legal team had sent a petition since last week, and they are fully ready for a legal action over the case, that he must know who sent the girl and how she got into the house and made a video, which according to findings is in Enugu.
“The girl has been arrested and we will find out who sponsored her to come and give fake testimony,” he said to his congregation.
