A Brazilian priest, Reverend Luciano Braga Simplicio, has found himself at the center of a scandal after he was allegedly caught hiding a parishioner’s fiancée inside his bathroom.
The shocking incident happened at Our Lady of Aparecida Parish, when a group of angry men stormed the priest’s residence, suspecting inappropriate behavior.
A viral video from the scene shows the priest, shirtless and visibly nervous, being confronted as one of the men broke down the bathroom door—revealing a woman hiding under the sink.

The woman, identified as the fiancée of one of Simplicio’s parishioners, appeared frightened and speechless as she was dragged out and made to lie on the floor.
According to local news outlet Pelo Bem de São José, the priest had reportedly brought the woman into his home earlier that day while her fiancé was away.
However, Simplicio denied any wrongdoing, claiming he only offered the woman a place to shower after work and insisting that the situation was misunderstood.
Details remain unclear about how long the woman stayed in the parish house, but the tense confrontation and viral footage have left the local Catholic community in shock.
