Just as she requested on Thursday, Arise TV invited Senator Natasha for an interview where no questions were spared. The Kogi State lawmaker made some revelations that have shaken the nation.
Recall that over the weeks, there has been a drama in the Nigerian House of Senate, where the representative of the Kogi State Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, insisted on speaking from her former seat after a new sitting arrangement was made.
With the President of the Senate, God’swill Obot Akpabio, ordering her out of the chambers as she kept talking despite efforts by her colleagues to calm her down, in order to allow the plenary to commence.
Senator Natasha has refused to apologize since the incident, against her colleagues’ advice, but rather has decided to stand her ground, claiming she is innocent, that senator Akpabio has always troubled her, and she won’t take it any longer.

Today during an interview session with Arise TV, Senator Natasha claimed during Akpabio’s birthday celebration, where she and her husband attended, that Akpabio had made a proposal for her to come spend a “good time” with him at his home in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, which she paid deaf ears to.
Another time, she said the senate president had also refused to consider and facilitate her motion in Ajaokuta. And when she went to his office to plead with him to consider her motion, Akpabio told her to make him happy, saying, “I’m the chief presiding officer of the senate; you can enjoy a whole lot if you take care of me and make me happy.”
On hearing that, she said she would pretend she never heard what he said; however, the senate president told her “the ball is in her court.”
The backline of her claims is that Senator Akpabio has been maligning her because she refused his intimate advances, just like a lecturer would continue failing a female student for not letting him have his way with her.
Before her revelation, she noted that what she is saying is her own truth and that the Senate President is allowed to counter it.
