The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as part of his bid to ease the economic hardship on the masses, has announced free train rides for travelling Nigerians during this festive period
This was revealed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, while speaking to State House correspondents in Abuja according to The Punch.

According to the minister, the free train ride is nationwide, and is set to commence on December 20, 2024 and end January 05, 2025.
The plan which also took effect in 2023 and during Sallah celebration, is part of the “President’s desire to cushion the effect of transportation, especially to the most vulnerable Nigerians,” Mohammed Idris said.
