“I expect there should be arrests of those criminals,” President Tinubu said.
The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that human life is more valuable than that of a cow.
Tinubu said this while speaking at the reception ceremony hosted by the Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia at the State Government House, on his condolence visit to Benue State over the Yelwata attack.
President Tinubu reiterated the valuae of human life over that of a cow, stating that it is only when the doors for conflict are opened that political enemies come in.
According to Tinubu, political enemies will never want you to succeed no matter what you do. He asked governor Alia if he is just realizing that.

Tinubu also emphasized the importance of listening to critics. Saying that he reads the papers and watches the news often, and most often takes the advise of the critics because he can’t see everything by himself.
The president while speaking also called on the security chiefs who were all present; the Chief of Defence Staff, the Inspector General of Police, the Director-general of the DSS, etc.
He asked the IGP in particular why no arrests have been made till now, saying he expects there should be arrests of those criminals.
Tinubu implored the service chiefs to be vigilant, keep their ears to the ground and do something to apprehend thoae criminal insurgents.
