At the Coroner court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary Nurse that treated late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, gave her testimony on the events of the day before the death of Mohbad.
Ogedengbe recounted how she was called by Ayobami Sodiq (Spending) to treat Mohbad at his Lekki residence on September 12, 2023.
When she arrived the residence, she saw that Mohbad had a cut on his right hand which had swollen, so she decided to administer a tetanus injection.
According to her, she had to inject him with a 4ml dose of paracetamol instead of diclofenac, because of his ulcer history, then she injected him with a slow 10ml ceftriaxone against infection.

However, after administering her medication, she observed that Mohbad started reacting negatively, vomiting and developing goosebumps, to which his wife, Omowumi, explained that he normally reacts that way when given injections.
The wife carried Mohbad to the bathroom and poured water on his head, while the nurse rushed to a pharmacy to get drugs.
On arriving Mohbad’s residence, she found that his condition had worsened and they were already heading to the hospital. But for traffic and lack of vehicle, Mohbad was rushed to the hospital on a motorcycle, where he was pronounced dead.
Mohbad’s death had sent shivers in the country. And since his demise, there have been speculations as to what killed him. His associates in the music indistry, Naira Marley and Zinoleesky have been accused of causing his death. His wife has also been dragged by Mohbad’s immediate family as the killer of their son.
