Nigerian singer and song writer, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has announced the passing of his mother, Mrs. Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.
The singer shared this in a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram handle, mourning the demise of his dear mother, whom he writes was his greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan.
In his post, which he complemented with a photo of him kissing his mother on the cheek, Mr Eazi praised his mother for her strength, sacrifices, and faith and for raising him and the rest of his siblings with love, discipline, and devotion to God.

He also eulogized his mother, noting that though she was not perfect, she was perfect for him. He credits his confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family to the teachings of his mother.
The post reads:

For teaching me confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family. You were my greatest protector, my toughest critic, and truest fan. You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade. 🤍”
His colleagues in the entertainment industry, including Olamide, Don Jazzy, King Promise, Tekno, Temi Otedola, and Skales, have all sent condolence messages to Mr. Eazi.
