Recently, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Obidike Chukwuebuka, has publicly affirmed that he’s very much confident that Seyi Tinubu has the capacity to reshape the city of Lagos and make it look like Dubai.
The chief’s remarks came in response to the recent endorsement of Seyi Tinubu by the Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders (CONYL) as the preferred candidate for the Lagos governorship race in 2027.
He said, “Seyi Tinubu will lead the people to a new era, transforming Lagos into Dubai.”

While the endorsement has sparked mixed reactions, supporters argue that Seyi Tinubu is well-positioned to build on his father’s legacy and drive meaningful progress in the state.
As well as adding that his growing influence among the youth and key political figures suggests that the 2027 governorship election could take an interesting turn.
“Seyi Tinubu is a capable and competent individual who will focus on key areas such as infrastructure development, economic growth, and social welfare. His vision aligns with the APC’s goals of promoting progress and prosperity for all Nigerians,” the chieftain said.
Mixed reactions have trailed these remarks; however, supporters believe he’s the best for the governorship race in the 2027 elections.
