Renowned Anambra native doctor Chukwudozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Tiwara Okuku, has been taken into custody as authorities investigate the authenticity of his alleged money ritual practices.
His arrest comes amid a broader crackdown on ritualistic activities in the state.
In a viral video, Akwa Tiwara Okuku denied performing “Okeite” money rituals, citing compliance with the newly enacted law in Anambra State that prohibits such practices.
However, during his interrogation, a government official insisted that he accompany them to his shrine to prove the effectiveness of the rituals he claims to perform.

Akwa Tiwara Okuku, known for his influence and wealth, has been a controversial figure.

He previously made headlines when he was kidnapped in July 2023 at his hotel in Oba, Anambra State.
During the abduction, two of his private security aides were shot. His capture raised questions about the efficacy of the anti-bullet charms he reportedly provided to clients
Authorities have yet to release an official statement on the outcome of the investigation into his alleged ritual activities.

This incident has ignited reactions from Nigerians who are eager to see Akwa Tiwara perform his juju spiritual stunts to the authorities to proof what he does is real.
Alot of people believe his arrest would further lead to the incarceration of internet fraudsters (Yahoo Yahoo boys) who have been patronizing him for juju charms and rituals.
