Some men of the Nigeria Police Force from the Anti-kidnapping Unit of Rivers State Command allegedly brutalized a man because he refused to give them N1 million.
According to a video that has been circulating, the victim of the brutality, with a blood-soaked body, said he was held by the police and asked to produce his tinted permit.

The man showed them the permits and his papers, which had expired, telling them he had tried several times to renew them, but the IRS told him their machine was faulty. They demanded N1 million to let him go.
Because he couldn’t provide the alleged amount of money they asked for, he was beaten and injured on his head, including the friends he drove with who tried to intercede for him.
He alleged they also beat a lady among his group and left her naked.
