It was a gathering of prominent figures on Saturday as the son of former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Dr. Chikamkpa Amaechi, tied the knot with Anita Nwabueze in Abuja.
The church wedding, held at St. Gabriel Chaplaincy, Catholic Secretariat, drew dignitaries including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Abia State Governor Alex Otti, former First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, and Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
Also present were former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Senate President David Mark, and ex-Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Father Steve Dedua, former chaplain of Rivers State House Parish, who urged the couple to remain patient and build their marriage on God’s foundation. He warned against the rising divorce rate globally, stressing that Chikamkpa and Anita should remain committed to breaking that trend.
Amaechi, visibly joyful, prayed for the couple’s happiness, love, and fruitfulness, while his wife, Judith Amaechi, said her greatest wish was for their lasting joy.
The wedding, which blended faith, family, and celebration, marked a significant moment for the Amaechi family, with guests showering the couple with goodwill and blessings.
