Suspended governor of Rivers State, Similayani Fubara, was seen for the first time since his suspension attending church at Salvation Ministries Headquarters, GRA, port Harcourt.
There have been speculations about Fubara’s whereabouts since President Tinubu declared a state of emergency on Rivers State and suspended him for six months while a military administrator in the person of Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas was appointed to take over the affairs of the state.

Mr. Fubara was seen on Sunday, March 23, 2025, with his Chief of Staff, Edison Evie, at the Salvation Ministries Headquarters in GRA, Port Harcourt.
He was hale and hearty, with an all-white dress, as people came around to exchange pleasantries. His security details stood guard.
