Founder and leader of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Pastor William Kumuyi, has been invited to attend Donald Trump’s second and final inauguration as U.S. President on January 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
During his visit, Pastor Kumuyi will also meet with American lawmakers, church leaders, and media representatives.
He praised Trump’s past efforts to support Christian values, stating, “President Trump’s stand for the gospel is not without recognition, not just by American Christians, but all Christians globally.”

Reflecting on the event’s importance, Kumuyi said, “This moment in history reminds us that faith transcends borders and unites believers worldwide.
“The global church stands together in prayer and purpose, advocating for faith-based dialogue to shape policies that uphold religious liberty.”
Pastor Kumuyi, accompanied by his wife, Esther, also encouraged believers to adapt and collaborate with influential leaders to advance the gospel.
“We cannot continue to do things in the same way and expect better results. We need to interact with the gatekeepers to further spread the gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,” he told his congregation.
Earlier, Trump had sent invitation to Nigerian gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey, to be a guest in his inauguration. It seems Trump recognizes the works of Nigerian Christian greats.
