A twitter user with the handle @Sarkideyforyou has stirred the internet after he posted images of the Redeemed Christian Church of God General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye in Arabic and Islamic attire.
The images claim that Pastor Adebeye is in Kaabah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and is dressed like a Muslim pilgrim.
The poster wrote in his caption: “Pastor Adeboye may Allah guide you to the right path”.

The images have evoked reactions from netizens, both from the Christian and Muslim sects.
The images, however, cannot be real, fact checking has proven that they are AI generated.
In one of the images, the founder of RCCG wore a white gown with a white covering in his head. In the other image, he wore a white gown with the traditional Arabic head gear of checked red and white.
Many Christians have seen it as an insult to the senior Nigerian clergyman, while Muslims prayed for such a day to come to pass.
