A female National Youth Service Corps member has sparked reactions among Nigerians after she revealed she received N777,000 instead of the new N77,000 as her allowance.
She made a video announcing that she saw triple sevens (777) instead of double sevens (77) as her NYSC monthly allowee (allowance).
The corps member said she is going to report it to the police, her NYSC Local Government Inspector (LGI), and the bank she receives her allowance from.
According to her, she wants to return it and make it public before she is labeled as a criminal.

Her video has made rounds on the internet, sparking reactions and debates among Nigerians, with many bemocking her misguided display of integrity, using the corrupt political leaders as a case study.
Some others applauded her, saying she did the right thing by returning the money.
