“My guess is that these corrupt elites may settle this matter through another means if Dele Farotimi resists all their attempts at intimidating him,” Kenneth Okonkwo said
Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has warned that nothing should be said happened to Dele Farotimi while he is in prison.
The former actor who is now a legal practitioner stated through his social media handle that the life of Dele Farotimi the Human Rights lawyer who was arrested on allegations of defamation, must be protected at all costs while he is in prison.
Mr. Kenneth Okonkwo has joined the many legal professionals in Nigeria, such as Sowore, Inibeghe Effiong, to condemn the unjustly arrest of Dele Farotimi after he was alleged to defame a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in the person of Afe Babalola.

Kenneth Okonkwo sent his monition across that Dele Farotimi while in prison should not be heard that he had any health complications, whether cardiac arrest or brief illness that could jeopardize his life.
He pointed out that Dele was hale and hearty before and when he was arrested, and so must be healthier whenever he comes out.
Kenneth Okonkwo believes that the corrupt elites in their attempts to stifle Dele Farotimi, may be pushed to engage in different means since it is clear that Dele Farotimi would not be intimidated.
He reminded the authorities that the world is watching, that since they have chosen a legal path, they must “not resort to anything funny.”
The statement reads:
NOTHING SHOULD HAPPEND TO DELE FAROTIMI IN PRISON
Now that Dele Farotimi is sticking to his guns on the purported defamation matter, his life must be protected at all costs in prison. Nobody should come and tell us he had a cardiac arrest or something happened to him after a brief illness. Dele Farotimi was hale and hearty when he was unjustly arrested. He must be healthier whenever he comes out since the government that is holding him unjustly is wealthier than him. My guess is that these corrupt elites may settle this matter through another means if Dele Farotimi resists all their attempts at intimidating him. The authorities must be aware that the world is watching. They have chosen the legal option and must not resort to anything funny. Let the law be allowed to run its full course.
