The Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, has lost one of its decorated veteran actresses, Nkechi Nweje, to the cold hands of death.
Mrs. Nkechi Nweje’s demise has been confirmed by her colleagues, including Destiny Etiko and producer Stanley Ontop, who announced it on their social media handles while wishing her a peaceful rest.

Photos of her in the hospital show that the actress was battling with ill health. Though her family has not yet released a statement to narrate how long she has been ill and what kind of health condition she was battling.
Actress Nkechi Nweje died in a hospital for which location and time are yet to be known.
However, the Nollywood family mourns the loss of one of their great stars.
