Report reaching Igbo Tv this afternoon has it that a Nigerian soldier who was supposed to be decorated last week have been dismissed.
It is said that the soldier a Lance Corporal identified as Kenewenimo Lokoja (12NA/67/3446) stole his colleague’s phone while on a course.
When the Army authorities got hold of the misconduct, they dismissed Lokoja.
Lokoja has just been promoted to a new rank as Corporal and was to be decorated few days before he was dismissed for unethical behavior in the military.
It is worthy of note that the military is a disciplined sector, and does not hesitate to take strict measures against practices deemed unethical in its field.
The dismissal served Kenewenimo Lokoja is one out of several punishments the military has served its erring personnel.
