The Nigeria Police Force has graduated 10,000 newly trained constables following the completion of intensive training across its colleges and institutions nationwide.
Force spokesman CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Wednesday, said the Passing Out Parade held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, across all training centres marked a major step in strengthening the Force’s manpower and operational capacity.
Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, who addressed the new officers, commended their dedication throughout the rigorous training and urged them to uphold the values of honour, diligence, and patriotism in their service to the nation.

During the training, the recruits were exposed to modern policing practices, ethical standards, community relations, and intelligence-led operations. The programme also emphasized respect for human rights and responsible use of authority to promote professionalism and public trust.
Hundeyin noted that the latest batch of constables is part of the Force’s ongoing manpower development drive under the current administration, aimed at improving security presence, response capacity, and public safety across the country.
He added that IGP Egbetokun reaffirmed the police leadership’s commitment to continuous training, welfare improvement, and institutional reforms to sustain progress in modern policing and ensure a safer Nigeria.
This is the second batch of 10,000 constables to complete training in 2025, following a similar exercise held earlier in the year.
