Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, during her visit to her community Ihima, Kogi Central, where she represented, claimed that the Senate President, God’swill Akpabio, was making plans to kill her.
Mrs. Akpoti-Uduaghan, who flew through a helicopter to meet her waiting community people after the Kogi State government ordered a prohibition on public gatherings, with major roads blocked for security concerns, told her people Akpabio wants her dead in order to silence her forever.
After the meeting with her people, she was on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Thursday night, reiterating her claims that Senator Akpabio is planning an assassination for her.
According to her, Senator Akpabio wanted her killing done in her community and not in Abuja so that it’d seem like it was her people that killed her.

Mrs. Natasha Akpoti challenged Akpabio to sue her if her allegations are false, saying that she is ready for whatever would come.

“I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that; I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge,” she said.
She told the Channels TV presenter that Akpabio had approached the sitting governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, to handle her recall from the Senate; however, Governor Ododo refused, so Akpabio charged Yahaya Bello to handle her recall and assassination.
“The meeting was in two folds; he told him to commence my recall. He was going to fund it. Of course, money changed hands that day. The second thing was that he should kill me.
“Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me. Akpabio told him to make sure that killing me does not happen in Abuja. It should be done here. So it will seem as if the people killed me here. I didn’t make that public, but we did notify the police about it,” she claimed.
“If you are doubting the veracity of the killing, what about the recall that we just experienced?” she asked the Channels interviewer when asked if she’d proof. “Let us get to that bridge,” she added.
