The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) Director-General, Binta Adamu Bello, has ordered an immediate investigation into extremely serious allegations of abuse, intimidation, and sexual exploitation leveled against Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).
According to Vincent Adekoye, NAPTIP Chief Press Officer, the organization received a petition detailing the abuse and is handling the matter with seriousness. “The DG is a compassionate and passionate person with concern for all, so she will ensure justice in the case where necessary,” he said.

The petition triggered a Friday protest by Abuja Concerned Mothers Advocacy Group at the Abuja headquarters of NAPTIP. The women, placards held high and visibly agitated, submitted an extensive petition signed by Dipo Olujobi.
The claims outlined in the petition are sexual assault, blackmail, intimidation by law, and cover-ups within the church leadership. The association emphasized the urgency for NAPTIP to take action, observing that religious leaders should not be accorded space to exploit vulnerable individuals under the guise of religion.
NAPTIP has reaffirmed its zero-tolerance approach to all forms of abuse and exploitation, especially against vulnerable individuals.
