A Nigerian lady identified as Amara Vanessa on Facebook, from Nnewi, Anambra State has sparked concerns on the internet after revealing that she called off her wedding which was supposed to take place the next day, January 08, 2025.
In the post, she said she does not want to bond with the wrong soul, saying she can’t afford anymore situations in her life that would bring out the worst in her.
She explained how tired she was and how the year 2024 had dealt with her, that she is not ready for more trouble, however, she needs love, and she needs her own man.
This sounds like she had been with an abusive person, and later found out even close to the day of their wedding, that they were not compatible.

“Anywhere you see me, just dash me money cos 2024 showed me shege and pepper 🌶️with a little bit of ice cream 🍦 mix with bitter leaf 🍃 then medium size of fufu and ora soup 😂 but I came out stronger and better ✌️
I was supposed to be married tomorrow, but I cancelled it due to some personal reasons 😡
I can’t afford any more situations in my life that bring out the worst in me. 🤔
I can’t afford bonding with another wrong soul 😡
It’s exhausting and requires too much for me to recover from 🥱
I need calmness and gentleness in my life.
I need love, and I need my own man 🙏”
