Spyro stated that if he decides to visit a restaurant, people would be waiting for him outside to beg for money, even when he goes to church, estate and even online, people are always waiting to bill him.
The artiste noted that everyone are concerned about taking from him, but do not care how he is fairing, and celebrated his colleagues who are going through the same thing, calling the real MVPs.

Spyro wrote on his Instagram post:
“Really hard being a celebrity in this lagos 🙍♂️ I told a guy I don’t have today and that I will see him next day and he rained insults on me 😳 Every day I step out of my house I spend a minimum of 100k on givings, now let’s say I go out 3 time a week, that’s 300k per week making 1.2m per month and that’s about 15million a year 😳 KILODE.”
“If I enter restaurant, BILLINGS go de wait me outside, I enter church, same thing … Enter estate same, carry phone enter online na same same … EVERYBODY wants to take but nobody de give you and nobody thinks of how you are fairing 🙍♂️ S/O to everyone of my colleagues out there going through this, y’all are the real MVPs and I CELEBRATE you 🙏.”
Many people have attributed this attitude to the entitlement mentality inherent in many Nigerians, believing that rich people owe them.
Singer Spyro came into limelight after his single “Billing” gained attention, then he went ahead and did “Who is your guy”, which came off really good, with Tiwa Savage featuring him for a remix of the single. Spyro before his breakthrough into the Nigerian music industry has been singing since 2017 when he first released “Puff Puff”.
