Jigawa State lawmaker Hon. Muhammed Kazaure Gudaji has made startling revelations, claiming that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deliberately ignored a detailed report he submitted, exposing the theft of over ₦100 trillion during the Buhari administration.
Speaking in a now-viral statement, Kazaure said Tinubu personally contacted him before taking office in 2023. According to him, he submitted the full report of his investigation, which contained names and evidence of those who allegedly looted the massive sum, calculated at the time to be over $113 billion.
“I gave him the full document and all the names of people who stole and shared the over ₦100 trillion among themselves,” Kazaure said.

The lawmaker also revealed that his involvement in the investigation came at a great personal cost. He claimed he survived two assassination attempts and had to flee the country during his re-election campaign in 2023, fearing for his life.

“I told Mr. President, this investigation cost me my election. Use the document to recover our money and build the country. With that, you won’t need to borrow money from anywhere for the next eight years,” he said.
However, Kazaure alleges that President Tinubu dismissed the report entirely. “He threw all the documents into the dustbin and now he is applying and applying for loans everywhere, when indeed he knows those who stole over ₦100 trillion in Buhari’s regime,” he stated.
He further claimed that many of those named in the report are now key figures in Tinubu’s government.
