Francis Van-Lare, a Nigerian businessman has revealed that Dr. Ikenna Erinne, the 36-year-old US-based cardiologist who took his own life, was his daughter’s ex-husband and the father of her children.
Igbo Tv had earlier reported the passing of a US-Based Nigerian Doctor from Anambra State, who reportedly took his own life after losing a prolong divorce battle, and ordered to pay $15,000 monthly child support, with his practising license revoked.
Van-Lare alleged that Erinne took his own life after losing custody of his children in a legal battle. However, the real reason is not because he lost the case or the $15,000 he was ordered to pay.

According to Van-Lare, on the day of the incident, Erinne allegedly held his former wife, their children, and a nanny at gunpoint for three hours before the nanny managed to escape and alert the police.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, Erinne reportedly chose to end his life rather than face criminal charges that could have led to a lengthy prison sentence.
The news of Dr. Erinne’s passing has sparked widespread reactions online, with many remembering him as a brilliant and compassionate doctor.
Meanwhile, his family and loved ones continue to mourn his tragic death.
