The family of Mr. Hassan Isah were involved in what the court interpreted as criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide, according to a report by Premium Times.
Mr. Hassan isah, who is 55-years-old, his 42 years-old wife Adama Yahaya, his 35 years-old brother Abdullahi Yahaya and wife Maryam Daso Yahaya (28) were sentenced to death by hanging, by the Jigawa State High Court.
The family who live in Kwan-Dole, a village in Mallam-Madori Local Government Area of Jigawa State, the same neighborhood as the deceased 30 years-old Salamatu Musa conspired and beat Ms Musa to death, after accusing her of witchcraft.

According to them, Ms Musa who they claim was a witch, was responsible for the death of their son.
The court, headed by the Judge, Ado Yusuf, found them guilty of criminal conspiracy punishable under Section 97 of the penal Code Laws, and culpable homicide, punishable under Section 221(b) of the Penal Code Laws.
According to Mr. Abbas Wangara, the Director of Protocol and Publicity, Jigawa State Judiciary, the court sentenced each of the four family members to six years imprisonment for the crime of criminal conspiracy, and death by hanging for the offence of culpable homicide.
The family, however, have 90 days to appeal and seek redress.
