A CCTV Footage of a man tricking and avoiding being kidnapped by kidnappers who trailed him to his residence in Ogwashi Uku, Delta State has been spiraling the internet.
The man identified as Sunny narrowly escaped being kidnapped by some men with guns through a clever stunt he pulled on Wednesday evening January 8, 2025
The footage was shared by his friend Alusi Ego Ezeobi on Facebook, where Ezeobi also advised people to be careful and vigilant, writing; “Kidnappers attempted kidnapping my friend at his residence in Ogwashi Uku Delta State, last night😳 please be vigilant, take a closer look and see how he narrowly escaped them. Sunny your God no dey sleep,”.
Sunny noticed he was being followed while he was driving home, and as soon as he drove into his house, the gunmen drove in too, however, he cleverly tricked them and escaped.

As he drove in, instead of parking his car and going out, he reversed as if he was about driving out again, and accelerate a bit in an attempt to hit the kidnappers who had come off their vehicle.
Before the stunned gun wielding men could realize what was happening, their target who left his care in motion had escaped, leaving them with no option than to walk off and leave.
Lots of netizens have reacted to the footage, applauding the man for his cleverness, while some praised God for his life. Some also pointed out that someone close to the man had given the kidnappers information about him.
