Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has expelled the female, Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious, after a video of her assaulting a lecturer for simply interrupting her Tiktok Live video went viral on the internet.
A letter signed by the Acting Registrar, Mr. Victor I. Modebelu, confirmed that the university’s Student Disciplinary Committee found Chimamaka Precious guilty of gross misconduct following an incident involving a lecturer from the Department of Theater and Film Studies.
The report was submitted to the Acting Vice-Chancellor, who, on behalf of the University Senate, approved the Committee’s recommendation for expulsion.

The decision is based on a violation of the university’s Students Disciplinary Regulations, particularly Regulation 4 (SDR).
The expulsion takes immediate effect, and the student has been instructed to vacate the university premises and return any university property in their possession.
The expulsion notice has been copied to key university officials, including the Vice-Chancellor, Dean of Student Affairs, Faculty of Arts, and the Chief Legal Officer.
