Nigerian superstar Davido recently revealed that one of his favorite rings went missing during a trip to Jamaica.
In a chat shared on Instagram, the multiple award winning singer expressed sadness over the loss, explaining that the ring fell into the water while on a boat in Jamaica.
The Diamond ring which has Nigerian flag colours, and inscription of “001” written on it reportedly costs over ₦26 million, and was also a symbol of his love for finely crafted jewelry. He mentioned that he plans to replace it and even hinted at designing a bigger one.

Davido feels very sad, but not because of the cost of the ring, but because of the craftmanship in making the ring.
He wrote on his Instagram story: “I’m so sad just thinking of the craftmanship I put into making this ring“.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Davido has faced such a mishap. In December 2023, he made headlines during a performance in Dubai when a $60,000 ring went missing on stage. Fortunately, that ring was later recovered, adding a lighthearted twist to an otherwise distressing incident.
