A man has shared on social media his calling off of his wedding after genotype results showed he and his would-be wife were incompatible.
The emotional statement was shared by a Twitter influencer with the handle @inn_sheikh.
The groom named Ibraheem Muhd explained in the statement that, he and his bride after a genotype test, discovered they were both AS, so they made the difficult decision to part ways.
As according to health experts, AS + AS couples increase their chances of bearing children with sickle cell diseases.
Ibraheem stated that his heart has broken into pieces, because he can no longer marry the woman he loves.
He also pleads for support and prayers from friends and well-wishers as he navigates this challenging time.

“Dear friends and family, it’s with an incredibly heavy heart that I regretfully announce the cancellation of my upcoming wedding. Due to unforeseen genetic compatibility issues, my partner and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways.
“As you can imagine, this news comes as a devastating shock, and my heart is shattered into a million pieces. We were both eager to start our life together, but unfortunately, our genotypes (AS + AS=!!) posed insurmountable health risks.
