WWE Legend Miguel Angel Lopez Dias popularly known as Rey Misterio Sr. has reportedly passed away.
The cause of his demise has not been stated, however, it is reported that Rey Misterio Sr. his death is coming a week after the death of his brother Robert Gutierrez.
Rey Misterio Sr. was born in 1958 to Mexican parents in Mexico. He joined professional wrestling in 1976 and retired in 2009, with several titles and championships to his name.

Rey Misterio Sr. influenced his nephew, the famous Rey Mysterio Jr. also known as 619, who gained lots of love and support from lovers of WWE, and later Dominik Mysterio, 619’s son.
The Rey Mysterios are known for their face masks and unique stunts and flexibility in the wrestling ring, when fighting against their opponents.
They don’t take off their masks while in the wrestling arena, making it difficult for fans to identify them outside wrestling environment.

Even with their small stature, except Dominik who is different, they always give their taller and much built opponents tough time.
Rey Misterio Sr. will ever be remembered in the wrestling world as progenitor of the Mysterio style of fighting and iconic mask.
