A 100-level student of Taraba State University, Jalingo, has been found dead in her boyfriend’s apartment.
The deceased, identified as Comfort Jimtop, a Mass Communication student from Takum Local Government Area, was discovered on Friday afternoon with empty bottles of alcohol beside the bed where her body lay.

The incident occurred in a compound housing about 15 tenants, all of whom, including the boyfriend, reportedly fled after the discovery.
Police spokesperson in Taraba, ASP Leshen James, confirmed the case, noting that efforts were ongoing to track down the suspect, Emmanuel Shata, and the other missing occupants.
James added that investigations had commenced to determine the circumstances surrounding Comfort’s death, assuring that the matter would be thoroughly pursued.
