The unnamed man went from being a millionaire, owner of 5 plots of land worth N50m, which he sold and wasted on betting, to a poor man who is now crying to the public not just for advice on how to stop himself from the act but also that it’s really tough on his end, so much so that he can’t afford to take care of footing his meals.
This information was shared on social media by another Nigerian man who is opposed to gambling and addiction; he had learned about this through a direct message sent to him on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He also shared a screenshot of the man’s betting dashboard. Other than the land he sold, he also sold a hostel he built.
