Several sources have confirmed the shutting down of Happiness Guest House at Amawbia, Anambra State, and the arrest of at least 10 sex workers and drug traffickers operating in the building.
The operation was carried out by the Ocha Brigade Enforcement Team, tagged “Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra”.
Intelligence reports had it that the territory was always used to perpetuate all sorts of crimes, including child sex, drug trafficking, and served as a hideout for armed robbers and criminals.

The Managing Director of the agency, Chief Celestine Anere, promised to arrest and prosecute all those involved in such illegal practices, to serve as deterrent for others who might be running similar illegalilties in the State.

OCHA Brigade, established under the administration of former Governor Willie Obiano, serves as the enforcement arm of the Anambra State government, focusing on maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and security.
Its objectives include promoting public health, enforcing state sanitation laws, and addressing societal issues such as street trading and illegal structures.

The organization also takes a strong stance against unethical behavior among its personnel, ensuring discipline and professionalism in their operations.
