Popular Nigerian Preacher and General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, advised unmarried men in his church during a service sermon to abandon any lady who asked them for transport fare before they could visit.
The cleric counseled that it is wrong for women to request transportation fare from the men they want to visit, for something that would benefit both of them.
And stronly advised men to leave such women, saying, once they start paying for such, they will continue to pay for everything.
“Any lady that tells you to pay bike fare, leave am, leave am. You have to pay for her transport to see you for something that will be mutually beneficial to both of you? Is she not praying for marriage? Are you not the answer to the prayer? As you have started now, from there, you will pay other things,” he said.

He also advised the ladies to always make sure they go out with their own money, when visiting a man, or out on a date. That it should be an insult to them if a man offers to pay their fare.
Apostle Suleman also advised the ladies to always order what they can pay for, in case anything happens, they won’t have to do dishes in the restaurant or eatery.
“And I’m talking to my daughters here, don’t do that. No body can price you beyond your package. Don’t do that. Ah, I will send you bike fare, tell the man, ‘what insult? Bike fare for what? I will take care of myself.
“When you are going somewhere, they take you out, as you are going out, have your money to pay for what you ordered. Have it, so that you don’t order too much. You regulate what you order, incase anything happens. So that you don’t wash plate,” he said.
His sermon met approval from a large number of men and women on the social media space, after the video was shared across social media platforms.
