Recall that the popular Anambra native doctor had made headlines early in the month of February when the state government ordered his arrest and detention, while his shrine was destroyed by state security agents.

Akwa Okuko has since remained in detention despite express displeasure from certain individuals in the state, who thought he was being deprived of his fundamental human right of freedom of worship.

Governor Soludo also ordered the arrest of several other native doctors and asked them to use their powers and vanish from custody. That if they could do that, no one would worry them anymore.
