It did not state whom the property belonged to, but according to Joe Igbokwe who is an APC stakeholder, the building belongs to Mr. Godwin Emefiele, former governor of the CBN.

Joe Igbokwe said this on Facebook while reacting to the report by EFCC.

Mr. Godwin Emefiele was arrested in 2023 and charged to court for possessing a gun and cartridges, however, was granted bail. He was hijacked immediately stepping out of court by the Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria’s version of secret services.
Since then, he has been answering to several charges related with corruption and money laundering. Many property linked to him has been forfeited by the EFCC after several unusual funds have been discovered under his possession.
