~ A Close Call for Real Madrid
The Spanish giants have been struggling at the beginning of the season, with their last game in the champions league ending in defeat against a brave Losc Lille side. The Galacticos won their last league game against Celta de Vigo at the weekend, but it was a win that still showed significant weaknesses in their defence.
Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund

The Spanish giants were at home against a brilliant and well drilled Dortmund side. Real Madrid needed to win this match convincingly, to prove that all is right in their camp. But the beginning of the game sent the footballing world into a shock, as Borussia Dortmund played with no fear and scored two goals in the first half that left the Madrid fans shocked. Real Madrid responded quickly as Rodrygo and Bellingham hit the frame of the goal twice in quick succession. The second half was a different match entirely, Nuri Sahin the young Dortmund manager decided to make a defensive change that ended up costing him. Real Madrid flexed their muscles as Vinicius grabbed the headlines with a hat-trick and Lucas Vasquez had a brilliant performance that turned the game around and ended up in a 5-2 win for the Galacticos.

Trouble in Paradise for Mbappe
Despite Madrid’s brilliant performance in the second half of last night’s game. The French superstar was not up to his usual best and has not been through out the season. He seems to be struggling to find his feet in the Real Madrid attack.
An attacking force that looks menacing on paper but he is not living up to the expectations. Last night’s performance by Vinicius Jr seems to have sent a message not just to the footballing world but also to the Real Madrid faithful, that there might be a new star in town, but He is still the man.
