Activist and socialite Vincent Martin Otse a.k.a VeryDarkMan (VDM) visited Auchi, Edo State on Monday and led a roadblock with Auchi Polytechnic students, against Dangote trucks.
In a video posted on his social media handle, VDM explained that they are blocking only Dangote Trucks from using the road until the company does something about the recent accident victims.
In one of the trucks carrying people, VDM had them all out of the truck and distributed N100,000 among them for their fare to their destinations.
Igbo TV reported that three people lost their lives in a crash involving two trucks and a Mercedes Benz GLK in front of Omega Fire Ministry, led by Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Eyewitness footage taken shortly after church service showed chaos at the scene, with several vehicles damaged. A voice in the video alleged that a Dangote Cement truck rammed into multiple cars.
The victims, all occupants of the GLK, were rushed to hospital but confirmed dead. The Dangote truck reportedly caught fire before it was extinguished.
Just few days ago, Dangote Truck had crushed the legs of Reality TV star Phyna’s sister, which led to the amputation of both legs.
The driver pleaded guilty to all charges and admitted to not having a driver’s license. According to VDM, Dangote truck drivers do not have licenses, however, they are allowed to drive, and they do so recklessly, with so mahy records of accidents.
Meanwhile, in Auchi, the road was not entirely blocked. Vehicles and other trucks were allowed to move except Dangote trucks.
