A U.S. man from Florida who secretly married three women in different counties, without any of them knowing about the others, has been convicted of felony bigamy.
Henry Betsey Jr., 50, managed to wed the women between 2020 and 2022, using separate jurisdictions to avoid raising suspicion. The truth came to light when one of his wives began digging into his past.
That wife, Tonya Betsey, married Henry in November 2020 after meeting him on Tinder. Her search of county marriage records revealed that he was still legally married to two other women: Michele Betsey, who wed him in November 2022 just three weeks after meeting on Match.com, and Brandy Betsey, who married him in February 2022 after meeting on Stir.

All three women say they believed they were in genuine, exclusive relationships. Instead, they allege Henry was motivated by financial gain, using charm and online dating profiles to lure them in. His dating bio described him as trustworthy and “not into games”—a stark contrast to the reality they discovered.
In May, Henry pleaded guilty to the felony charge. On July 31, a judge sentenced him to two years of probation, ordering him to stay off social media and have no contact with his wives.
Facing them in court, Henry apologized to the women, their families, and his own. But none believed his remorse was real. Tonya told ABC Action News she felt his apology was scripted, while Michele and Brandy called his charm calculated.
