The long-standing feud between Kylian Mbappe and PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi that has been ongoing for over a year, caused by the former’s firm decision to join Real Madrid, rather than extending his contract with PSG recently took a new turn when Kylian’s younger brother, Ethan, was excluded for a game against Toulouse for what was allegedly deemed an unfair reason following orders from the PSG board; the club’s issue with Kylian Mbappe and his contract situation seemed to be extending to Ethan.
Kylian Mbappe found his brother broken in tears in the PSG’s dressing room and was deeply disturbed by the knowledge that the rift between him and the club was the reason behind this. Kylian was upset that his younger brother was being unfairly targeted for a situation that the poor boy had no control over.

The recent discovery of his brother’s distress lead to a renewed heated confrontation between an angry Mbappe and PSG as he was reportedly forced to let out his outburst at Al-Khelaïfi directly. He was said to have voiced his frustration, making it clear to the PSG owner he would not tolerate his family being targeted unjustly, which of course, only intensified the already boiling tension between him and the club.
Not only did this incident, amongst other longstanding grievances, help solidify Kylian’s will to take the final step in leaving PSG on a free transfer and ultimately pursuing his move to Real Madrid at the expense of the French club, but also, reportedly reaffirming Al-Khelaifi that he has no plans on forgoing the €55 million owed to him by the club in unpaid wages and if it goes down the wire, is ready to sue the club.
