Ezenwafor, a well-known real estate developer based in Abuja, emerged as the PDP’s candidate after a tightly contested primary and is considered a strong contender in the race to succeed Governor Charles Soludo in Anambra State.

The PDP has not yet issued an official statement on the incident, but party insiders say the attack has raised serious concerns about the safety of candidates ahead of the November polls.
Security agencies are expected to open an investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the attack and ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
